Greg Rucka is no longer going to be the new writer on Supergirl, rather Joe Kelly. I’m not sure what’s up with the artist: on the Kara Lives it’s said that Ron Adrian is taking over, and he is listed as inside artist for issues 7 and 8 on the DC website, but Ian “extended-torso” Churchill is listed once more on issues 9 and 10. Adrian’s style is very similar to Ed Benes, which means cartoony and lots of over the top cheesecake (translation: pornified), but from what I’ve seen, it’s not quite as bad as Benes’ pinups-masquerading-as-sequential art. I’m trying to be hopeful here.
