Supergirl appearances

Some catching up on Supergirl guest appearances, upcoming and recent, and some that I missed altogether.

I read somewhere that Supergirl was in Action Comics #846 (Feb 28/07) but I can’t find confirmation for that anywhere, so I think it may have been a mistake.

I missed these issues first time around – found them while digging thru the Comics.org database. No details on how big a presence she has in these stories. The 52 History of the DCU back-ups are of only nominal interest.

To be added to Comicbooks: Supergirl (Kara II)

  • Sept 14/05: JLA #118
  • Feb 16/05: GREEN LANTERN: Rebirth #4
  • May 11/05: GREEN LANTERN: Rebirth #6
  • Dec ’05-Jan ’06 Infinite Crisis tie-ins: FIRESTORM #20, OUTSIDERS #32, FIRESTORM #21, PLASTIC MAN #20
  • March 29/06: SUPERMAN/BATMAN #24 and May 17/06: SUPERMAN/BATMAN #25 (this was the reverse-sexed alternate universe story)
  • May 31/06: 52 #4 – History of the DCU Part 3 (4 pages) – covers Crisis on Infinite Earth up to the death of Supergirl (Kara); Linda Danvers also appears according to Comics.org
  • June 7/06: 52 #5 – Week five turns on the return of part of the team that followed Donna Troy into space. It opens with Green Lantern breaking bad news to an ever hopeful Ellen Baker. Steel is asked to lend a hand with the conditions of some of the returnees while Alan fills him in on the last few minutes before that return. Elsewhere, Sawyer presses Montoya about what happened in the abandoned building, and three remaining deal with being marooned in space.
  • June 21/06: 52 #7 – History of the DCU Part 6 (4 pages) – covers Zero Hour (Matrix Supergirl)
  • June 21/06: SUPERMAN/BATMAN #27
  • June 28/06: 52 #8 – History of the DCU: Part 7 (4 pages) Covers the events after Zero Hour up to Identity Crisis (Kara II cameo)
  • Oct 25/06: Justice #8 (of 12)
  • Jan 10/07: 52 #36 The Origin of Power Girl (2 pages)

And finally, something I don’t know where to place on the site: Solo #1 – an anthology containing a short story featuring the original Kara and Robin in Silver Age-toned story entitled “Young Love”. See Broken Frontier, The Fourth Rail and The Trades.

  1. i loved the Solo #1 Supergirl story. the end is just so sad/depressing. ;___;

  2. Speaking of Supergirl appearances…I like the mini-icon you have underneath the archives area…is there any significance to the tiny ‘footprint’ on her skirt? Did you design the icon yourself, Michelle?

  3. Ah, I just added that cute little girl last night =) She’s been sitting on my computer for a while. She was made with the Elouai Dollmaker, which is based on the Korean Candybar doll site. There’s no significance to the skirt footprint: those are just the pieces I picked to compose a casual wear Supergirl =)
