This morning I came across this gorgeous original sculpture of Kara by David James:

  1. It’s a nice sculpt, but the eyes look strange and almost clouded…maybe because they’re such a pale blue…looks a little creepy/unsettling from a distance…

  2. wow, that is a gorgeous statue. probably costs a lot. ;___;

    but i’m really glad to see a ‘classic’ Kara statue. now if one of similar style was made for PAD’s Linda, well, i’d be really happy. :D

  3. I don’t think it’s for sale; they’re one of a kind and I think he does them for himself. (If I could do something like that, I’d never be able to part with it!) If he ever did want to sell it, it would fetch in the thousands I’m sure.

    I watched Law and Order SVU the other day and it had Dean as a multiple rapist and I was like ‘noooo! He’s innocent! Superman doesn’t rape ppl!!!’

  5. I would not be able to watch that SVU episode! (don’t like SVU anyway, but that’s not the point!) Ewww. I’m so mad he’s going to be a villain on Smallville this year: I want him to be Zor-El!

    I was EXACTLY the same way with Lois & Clark and Dean Cain! =) Oh god. Do you remember the LnC nFanFic Archive? *fans self* L&C was my first online obsession fandom ^_^ Good times.
