So next week’s episode is called “Lara” and is to guest-star Helen Slater, but all the promo for it showed were lots of nasty scenes of Kara being captured, helpless, and tortured with Kryptonite. WTF Smallville? Is it really beyond your ability to have more than one semi-heroic woman per episode, without reducing another to humiliating defeat and torturing her? Superman would not approve *folds arms and glares sternly*
Hey, I totally agree with you. This is the exact reaction if I were Superman.
This is one of several reasons I don’t watch Smallville. The other one is they talk too much. I like the 90′s animated series the best.
I didn’t get to watch the preview for next weeks show since I have not mastered the art of the DVR (I always seem to DVR 99.9% of every show I tape, but it always cuts off when the credits start to roll, often cutting off the reviews).
I know you said you would comment on last weeks show soon, I have to comment on it now … I’ve seen that one before … on just about every show that ever has “Hollywood come to town to make a movie w/ a plot to kill the lead actor/actress.” I hate those shows so much … I saw nothing new for the whole 59:24 of show I saw.
The show is really starting to get very tired already … just put the damn suit on and fly and end the show already!!!!!!!!!!!!
Michelle, sounds like you need a bunch of rubber bricks to throw at the telly to get through an episode… ;-)

Oh, you said rubber bricks. I read bands =) Yes, there’s a very good reason I never watched Smallville regularly before. Too much frustration.
Although Smallville isn’t that great this year (so far) I have to say I’m loving Supergirl … :::drooling over those blue eyes::: LOVE sick I am!!!!
