I totally agree with your summary of the book! I also agree with you on Guedes’ art. I was skeptical at first, then down right hated it, but then changed my mind. I love his art. I would LOVE to see his take on the costume from Supergirl Vol 5 #32. The “future” one. I fell in love with that costume because of how simple it is. Kinda wish it would take the current costumes place. I’m not really a fan of it.

This issue was my favorite of the current Supergirl series. I liked the “She’s just a kid” line very much, and the pose Kara strikes flying out in the 2nd scan just screams “iconic.”

i loved Guedes’s art so much. finally, i loved the new Supergirl. but it was gone so fast. :__;
i wonder why it didn’t last.
