Site updates: search, costumes images, nofollow

I’ve added a few things to the site recently:
- A Google site search in the nav menu (the existing blog search is built into WordPress). The results page doesn’t match the site, but it’s free. Ah Google, will you ever not be ugly?
- Links to full images of the screencaps on the index page. Thought people might find it neat to see where some of the images are from.
- New images from SG #62 on the Linda Danvers Supergirl Costumes page and links to full images of all the thumbnails. The page needed some work to make the images and text flow better, so I looked for some costumes to add and fell in love with Bizarro Supergirl all over again :-)
Behind the scenes, I’ve installed two WordPress plugins relating to nofollow. Do Follow removes the nofollow attribute from links in the comments section, thereby restoring the PageRank commenters would naturally get from leaving their URL. Nofollow penalizes regular folks and doesn’t actually stop comment spam.
The second plugin adds nofollow to any links to large social sites like Wikipedia, YouTube, Twitter and others who use nofollow and therefore don’t give any credit (in the form of PageRank) to any links to outside sites. In other words, the big sites receive PageRank from small sites but don’t give any back, and the Nofollow Reciprocity plugin treats them the same way they treat us.
