Site Update: Supergirl 2009 Comics

I’ve filled in the missing March-August 2009 comics for Supergirl. July and August look to be very busy, with the Justice League: Cry for Justice miniseries, the Superman crossover story, including the Superman Secret Files 2009 featuring a Supergirl and Flamebird story, and new “Wednesday Comics” series running through those two months. Each issue of the weekly comic will feature a one-page installment of a story in which Supergirl attempts to deal with a Streaky and Krypto gone bad, written by Jimmy Palmiotti and with art by Amanda Conner.

I’ve listed the upcoming World of New Krypton issues, based on the fact that Supergirl has appeared in every issue so far. I also filled in Superman #682 and 683 and Action Comics #870-872 from last winter, which I’d neglected to list as featuring Supergirl.

On that page I’ve also updated the version of the Supergirl Chronology which Supergirl fan Daniel sent me many months ago. Been meaning to update that for a while now. The chronology has been updated to include cover images and to include issues up through the beginning of Final Crisis.

I’m very happy to see that the cover for Supergirl #43 (shown above left) will be an image by Joshua Middleton that went around the net a while back as promotional art. It’s delightful.
