The action figures are the fifth-most viewed page on this site, so I thought I’d best put the link in a prominent place on the menu. Lots of new stuff to announce!

Supergirl Lead Figurine

- Company: Eaglemoss Publications
- Dimensions: exact height unknown, their Marvel figures are 82-97mm or 3.2-3.8″
- List Price: £6.99 (UK) – varies by country
- Preorder from Big Bad Toy Store: $13.99 USD.
- Release Date: September 2009
Produced by Eaglemoss Publications, a UK company which packages these small figures with a biweekly magazine that’s published in select countries (see Wikipedia). What caught my eye on this figure is the heroic pose – so unusual for Supergirl figures! Too bad they modelled it on the Ian Churchill costume design and not Jamal Igle’s; the ridiculously tiny skirt and way-high crop top kind of ruins an otherwise striking (if tiny) figure.
Tonner Doll: Supergirl Deluxe (LE 1000)
.jpg)
There’s a new uber-expensive, limited edition Supergirl out from Tonner Doll Company. I’m not sure what version of the costume it’s based on – looks like one of the Halloween costumes more than anything.

DC Universe Infinite Heroes: Supergirl (1985) – Crisis Series 1 – Figure 43
The following are all part of Mattel’s DC Universe Infinite Heroes line. I’ve seen the three-packs in person, and they’re really small and crappy – only 3.75 inches. According to reports from the 2008 Toy Fair the SRP (list price) for the figures is $5.99 USD but every online store I’ve seen charges more – Wal-Mart being the lowest at $6.97.

DC Universe Classics: Power Girl – unannounced wave
.jpg)
This figure was first announced in April at Action Figures Insider. Wikipedia says she will be released in Series Ten (Wal-Mart Exclusives) – date unknown. The DC Universe Classics are larger than the Infinite Heroes and better looking. A proposed “Brick-and-Mortar/Online Exclusive Two-Pack” of Supergirl and Lex Luthor (re-releases) was also announced last fall. The Supergirl will be the all blue costume.
