The Brave and The Bold Vol. 4: Without Sin (out of print)

Collects The Brave and The Bold #17-22. Paperback published July 2009. Individual issues are available on Comixology.

Supergirl appears in a team-up story with Raven in issues #17 and 18, in a story titled “Fathers” written by Marv Wolfman and illustrated by Phil Winslade. This is a strangely out-of-continuity story that seems to fit somewhere around Supergirl #13, published about 2 years prior, when the character was going through the highly unpopular “Evil Zor-El/brainwashed-killer-Kara” storyline by Joe Kelly that was promptly retconned away when editor Eddie Berganza was replaced after Supergirl #19. These issues serve at best as a curiosity, and at worst as an unwelcome reminder of one of DC Comics’ most damaging treatments of Supergirl. See Supergirl Comic Box Commentary for an excellent review.
